Ray Isaac, President
Ray is one of four brothers who make up the third generation of this family business. Winner of the Rochester Small Business Person of the Year in 2012.
Eric Knaak, VP & General Manager
Eric has been with Isaac for over 20 years, and previously served as a proud member of the US Marines.
Joe Kruger, VP of Sales & Marketing
Joe began as a sales representative with Isaac over 30 year ago and heads up a team that regularly wins top 10 recognition in the nation for our Rheem sales and service.
Lee Spencer, VP of Finance
After starting with Isaac as a bookkeeper/controller in 1980, Lee is now responsible for our company’s financial management.
Kevin Traut, Director of Education and Training
Kevin brings many years of heating and air conditioning education experience to Isaac as a NATE-certified instructor.
Wesley Marchand, Commercial Installation Manager
Wesley has lived in and around Rochester all his life. He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from State University of New York at Buffalo in 2007. He has worked at Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning since November 2002 and has held positions in the Commercial Installation Department as an engineer, estimator, project manager, assistant manager and currently department manager. He is passionate about the development of new projects and guiding them through every phase of design and construction. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids as well as outdoor sports and activities such as golf, baseball, fishing, hunting and shooting.
Nicole Talen, Commercial Installation Assistant Manager
Nicole was raised in Rochester, NY and returned home after spending five years in Boston after college. She has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Cornell University and brings 11 years of customer service, management, and design experience to Isaac. She recently joined the Commercial Install Team at Isaac as the Assistant Manager. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys doing yoga, cooking and spending time with her family and two dogs, Luigi & Francesco.
Eric Smith, Engineering Supervisor
Raised in Ithaca, N.Y., Eric completed a bachelor’s of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester. He began his career at a local consulting engineering firm where he gained experience with the wide variety of HVAC systems and design applications. Since 2015, Eric has been the Engineering Supervisor at Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning. He spearheads the design phase of design/build projects and acts as a technical advisor to the many Isaac team members. Eric is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York, as well as an LEED AP +BD&C accredited professional and active member of the local chapter of ASHRAE. In his personal time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, and visiting national parks across the United States.
Tim Ham, Commercial Project Manager
Tim was born and raised in the Rochester, N.Y. area and lives in Brighton with his wife and two children. He started his career at Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning in 2006 as a delivery driver. He was promoted to crew leader in 2008, lead mechanic in 2010, and became a project manager in January 2017. Outside of work, Tim likes to spend time outdoors, camping and hiking with his family in the Adirondack Mountains, as well as hunting and fishing.
Conner O’Donoghue, Project Manager
Conner grew up in Avon, NY and is now currently resides in Rochester, NY. He started working with Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning during the summer of 2015 in the field as an intern. After graduating in 2016 from Alfred State College, where he studied heating and air conditioning technology while taking electives in construction management and safety. He has now moved into the office working alongside the team of managers and engineers with his main focus on the success of large commercial projects and also striving to optimize new and improved operations throughout the workplace. When not working he enjoys playing golf with friends and family.
Timothy Lingeman, Commercial Installation Supervisor
Tim is a native of Hilton, N.Y. After serving with the Coast Guard (where he was a machinery technician working on diesel engines along with HVAC systems), he worked for a small company doing plumbing and HVAC installations and service. In the early 1980s, he relocated to Dallas, where he was a foreman supervising several high-rise HVAC and plumbing projects. At that time, he also attended night school learning the trade before coming back to Rochester and joining Isaac. In his 22 years as a foreman for Isaac, he has supervised many large commercial projects. In 2009 Tim was named Installation Supervisor for the Commercial Department, which has expanded considerably under his leadership.
John Riker, Commercial Installation Supervisor
John has lived in the Finger Lakes Region his entire life. His first job was at a welding and sheet metal company, but decided to move to HVAC. John joined Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning in 1987. He started with Isaac as an apprentice and was promoted to mechanic, specializing in fabrication and hydronics. He was promoted to Commercial Field Supervisor in 2015. Throughout his career at Isaac, he has continued to improve his skills through continuing education, including advanced courses in sheet metal fabrication, refrigeration and hydronics.
Steve Mangiafesto, Commercial Installation Sales Engineer
Steve has lived in and around Rochester since relocating from the Buffalo area in 2005. He studied drafting at The State University of New York at Alfred and graduated with this Associates degree in 1984. He has a diversified 35 year career in the mechanical field. Originally worked at Nine Mile Point nuclear power plant during construction after college graduation eventually relocating to Rochester. Steve has worked in engineering at the Sear Brown Group and M/E Engineering. Also he was a territory manager for the Buffalo area at Ward Supply. Steve also has experience in working at other mechanical contractors. He has worked at Isaac Heating and Air Conditioning since July of 2014. He is passionate about the development of new projects and guiding them through from start to finish. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife (Jill) and sons (Sam, Jeff, and Zach) along with outdoor activities such as golf and Camping. Steve has also been an adult volunteer with the BSA for over 20 years in capacities within the Pack, Troop, and District levels. Two of his sons are Eagle Scouts and he also is a Silver Beaver award recipient.
Paul Raleigh, Commercial Installation Sales Engineer
Paul has lived in the Rochester area his entire life and worked in the HVAC industry for the past 20 years, all of which have been at Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning. At Isaac he has worked in almost every role ranging from residential installer, service tech, various leadership roles. Paul’s passion for the industry has always been in the commercial system design. So when his current position came available, there was no question what he would be doing next. Paul’s true love in life is his family; specifically his wife Cheryl and children Addison, Paul, Reese, and Wyatt. He enjoys coaching youth lacrosse and is involved in various youth activities. The family enjoys camping, motor sports, skiing, and truly anything they can do together.
Brian Baxter, Commercial Installation Advisor
Brian has lived in and around Rochester all his life. He graduated from college with an associate’s degree in HVACR at Alfred State College in 1996 and began working at Isaac Heating & Air Conditioning a month after graduating. He has had many roles within the company, starting as a residential service technician and then becoming a team leader and trainer. He moved to Commercial Service and was also a team leader there. He currently works with Commercial Install on equipment start up, training install technicians, and performing sales part time. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife Kimberly and their children Morgan and Aaron, along with any outdoor activities such as ATV riding and nature walking.
